Apple re-releases iOS 9.3.2 for iPad Pro 9.7-inch to fix ‘Error 56’ bug

The update aims to unbrick the iPads that have already been affected by ‘Error 56’ bug.

Last month, Apple had released an iOS 9.3.2 update for its iOS devices. Being an incremental update, it included performance improvements and bug fixes along with an addition of a couple of features. However, the update did also bring along a notorious bug that bricked some of the Apple iPad Pro 9.7-inch devices. After withdrawing it last month, Apple has now re-released the update to address those issues.

If you had refrained from updating to iOS 9.3.2 after reading about the bug, you can now go ahead and update your iPad Pro 9.7-inch. And for those with bricked devices, can connect their iPads to a Mac or PC running iTunes and update the software from there.

The iOS 9.3.2 beta update was first rolled out to developers in April, and a month later the update was made available for general users too. The update also brings an adjustment to Night Shift mode, which can now be used in Low Power Mode too. It also includes bug fixes to audio quality on the Apple iPhone SE when paired with Bluetooth headsets.

Apple has also released the iOS 9.3.3 beta version for developers and testers. Though, the update is not available for the iPad Pro 9.7-inch due to the ‘Error 56’ issue. Now that Apple has re-released the previous version with the required bug fix, iOS 9.3.3 is also expected to make its way to the smaller iPad Pro as well. As of now, Apple hasn’t mentioned any changelog of features that the new update brings.

Apple is also hosting its WWDC 2016 developer conference on June 13 in San Francisco. A lot of new software related announcements are expected for its iOS devices including the Mac OS X, Apple Watch and Apple TV. Apple is also rumored to unveil a Siri-enabled speaker that will take on Amazon Echo and Google’s upcoming Google Home speaker that was showcased at the I/O 2016.
