Fortnite Chapter 6 is finally here, continuing with Fortnite The Simpsons which switches up the map once again. There’s new weapons to try out, a Springfield-themed Battle Pass, as well as updates centered around the long-running TV show.
After the conclusion of a live event, we’re now moving into Fortnite The Simpsons. It’s frequent updates like these that make Fortnite one of the best battle royale games around. Last season concluded November 1, before the new mini-season goes live across the world.

When does the current season of Fortnite end?

Fortnite Shock ‘N Awesome ended on November 1, 2025. This is when downtime triggered:
- East Coast (US): 11:30AM ET
- West Coast (US): 8:30AM PT
- United Kingdom: 3:30PM GMT
- Central Europe: 4:30PM CET
- Australia (Sydney): 2:30AM AEDT (November 2)
- Japan (Tokyo): 12:30AM JST (November 2)
When is the next season of Fortnite?

The next season of Fortnite will launch following downtime on November 1, 2025. Hopefully, downtime is only 5 hours (based on the average times of Chapter 6 so far), but it’s worth noting that things have been known to slip slightly in the past. According to the advertisement embedded above, Epic Games is expecting the new update to launch at the times below:
- East Coast (US): 5PM ET
- West Coast (US): 2PM PT
- United Kingdom: 9PM GMT
- Central Europe: 10PM CET
- Australia (Sydney): 8AM AEDT (November 2)
- Japan (Tokyo): 6AM JST (November 2)
What to expect from the next Fortnite season

The next season is based on The Simpsons. This Fortnite x The Simpsons collaboration season will give the map a Springfield makeover, and add new skins based on Homer Simpson, Marge Simpson, Flanders, and more.
There’s also been news of Sidekicks, new pets that are being added in the next Battle Pass (November 1). This will all launch alongside The Simpsons, and there’s a Peely dog that can be earned with XP.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 map changes

Here’s the full map for Fortnite Shock ‘N Awesome. As you can see in the image above, there’s still some previous locations remaining from last season. The new locations are OXR HQ, Rangers Ruin, Swarmy Stash, and The Hive. There’s bug enemies found at the new POIs, and three new Medallions to earn as well.
