Gionee has launched its P5w smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 6,499, the smartphone is available in white, blue, red, yellow and black color options.
Gionee P5w specifications and features: The smartphone features a 5-inch 720p IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clubbed with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of built-in storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the photography front, the smartphone features a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED-flash, and a 2-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and micro-USB 2.0. On the software front, the Gionee P5w runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The smartphone is powered by a 2,000mAh battery.
Keeping in mind the price range and specifications, the smartphone is expected to face tough competitions from the likes of Lava P7 and Asus Zenfone Go.
