Each month, a new range of free games becomes available to North American, European and Australian Xbox Live subscribers, with users able to download titles across Xbox One and Xbox 360.
We suggest you grab these games while they’re free, as you’ll then be able to play them as long as you have an active Xbox Live subscription.
As the free games are refreshed monthly, we’ve taken the liberty of keeping you updated on the titles that are being offered.
Here are your free Xbox Live Games with Gold for July 2016 – The first batch will be available available from July 1-31, while the second batch will be available from July 16-August 15.
Xbox One
The Banner Saga 2 – released on Windows and OSX earlier in the year, the next entry in Stoic Studio’s Banner Saga series will launch on Xbox One absolutely free for Xbox Live subscribers. This Viking-themed tactical role-playing game features a thoughtful and engaging story and a truly remarkable art style. (Available from July 1-31)
Tumblestone – a fast-paced action puzzle game, Tumblestone provides a unique take on a familiar genre. Inspired by Puyo Puyo and Tetris, Tumblestone features story and arcade modes, as well as intense local and online multiplayer modes for up to four players. (Available from July 16-August 15)
Xbox 360
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 – Tom Clancy returns to Sin City for more classic tactical shooter action in the second instalment of Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Vegas series. Create a character that persists in both single and multiplayer modes. (Available from July 1-31)
Tron: Evolution – In the movie tie-in game Tron: Evolution, you’re tasked with following the events leading up to the 2010 film, Tron: Legacy. Expect plenty of light cycle and disc-tossing action as you compete in the virtual games of the Tron world. (Available from July 16-August 15)
