Google’s annual conference starts tonight with CEO Sundar Pichai’s keynote scheduled to kick off the proceedings. For those who are not able to attend the conference, Google will be live streaming the entire keynote so you can watch it from the comfort of your couch. Google I/O 2016 live stream kicks off at 10:30PM IST tonight, and here’s how you can follow it live.

Google will be streaming the event live on its I/O 2016 events website. Alternatively, it will also be live streaming the event on YouTube, and you can watch the event in the video embedded below.

Google also plans on enhancing the live streaming experience, and you can basically watch the keynote in virtual reality. If you own a pair of Google Cardboard headset, you will be able to watch the keynote in 360 degrees. The same can be experienced on the Oculus Rift and Samsung’s Gear VR as well. The 360-degree video will essentially let you look around the auditorium, and experience the keynote just like you were sitting in the audience yourself.

Among the various announcements we expect from Google, the one to look forward to is Android N. Not only is Pichai expected to reveal the name of the next operating system version, but also detail various new features for users. Google is also looking at a big-time virtual reality push with rumors hinting at an announcement of a standalone VR headset. Apart from these we also expect to hear about Project Tango, Project Ara, Project Aura, and even the Android One initiative.
