HP Spectre: After its launch in international market like USA and Singapore, Personal computer major HP Inc is all set to launch its thinnest laptop – HP Spectre in India today.
HP Spectre is currently priced at $1099.99 for the Core i5 model (with 256GB SSD) and $1349.99 for the Core i7 model (with 512GB SSD) at the bestbuy.com where it was first launched in partnership with hp.com in April this year.
HP did not disclose the price in its invite to mediaperson but according to industry pundit, the Specter is likely to be priced above Rs 80000 in India.
Claimed as the the world’s thinnest notebook by HP, the HP Spectre is made from aluminium and carbon fibre, and it is just 10.4mm thin, making it slimmer than rivals such as the Lenovo Yoga 900S (12.8mm). It weighs 1.1kg.
The device packs in full HD 13.3-inch diagonal edge-to-edge display and storage up to 512GB and with up to 8GB of RAM.
It has hybrid battery split into two thinner pieces that delivers the same charge as a single battery for up to 9.5 hours of battery life.
The laptop will be launched at 7.30 pm at the event today.
Along with this device, HP is also likely to launch other variants of laptop and PCs.
