What to expect from HTC 10?
While other smartphone manufacturers have already launched their 2016 flagship smartphones, HTC has taken its time to build its flagship smartphone. In the run up to the launch event, HTC had been teasing the HTC 10’s key features mainly focused on camera, new BoomSound speaker, capacitive keys and fingerprint scanner embedded within the home button, longer battery life and much more. Undoubtedly, HTC has raised the bar quite high in terms of expectations.

HTC 10 specifications and features: Based on the numerous leaks over the past few months, the HTC 10 could feature a 5.2-inch QHD display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB of RAM. With 16GB, 32GB and 128GB storage variants, a microSD card slot for further expansion is also likely to be in tow.

For shutterbugs, the HTC 10 could come equipped with a 12-UltraPixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera, with both cameras expected to boast optical image stabilization (OIS). On the battery front, a 3,000mAh non-removable battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0 is expected. With connectivity options such as 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C port, the smartphone could rum Android Marshmallow wrapped under the Sense UI 8.

While some reports claim that HTC 10 will available worldwide by mid-May, there is no word on Indian availability yet. With just a few hours to go for the launch event, it will be interesting to see what HTC has to offer with its latest flagship smartphone.
