HTC One X10 will focus on battery life and style

Rumors for the HTC 11 – also may be known as the HTC Ocean – are thin on the ground at the moment, but a new phone from the Taiwanese company has surfaced and it’s called the HTC One X10.

The phone leaked in a new promotional image, thanks to Twitter leaker Evleaks, and focuses on the battery life and full-metal design of the phone.

There’s a fingerprint sensor on the rear of the phone, a placement HTC hasn’t used since the HTC One Max in 2013, with recent phones such as the One A9 and HTC 10 opting for a front-facing digit reader.

A new line

The promo shot suggests it has a single-lens on the rear with an LED flash to the side of it. On the right hand side of the device sits a button to turn the screen on and a volume rocker sat just above.

HTC cites the battery life of the device in the promo image, but how big the battery inside the phone is remains to be seen.

A previous leak from Chinese social networking site Weibo suggested the would have a Full HD 5.5-inch display, 3GB of RAM and a 13MP rear sensor as well as running on the MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core chipset.

Evan Blass has previously revealed the HTC One X10 too, but it doesn’t look to be a new flagship phone from the company and rather a reworking of the HTC 10 in a new package focusing on new features.

A price isn’t clear at the moment, but the spec suggests it’s a mid-range phone so will hopefully be cheaper than the very expensive HTC U Ultra.
