HTC promises a ‘very compelling’ One M10 camera

HTC chose to sit out the MWC 2016 rush this year leaving the limelight for Samsung and LG, but it will announce a new flagship phone very soon with a focus on photography.

We don’t know too much about the rumoured One M10 just yet,but one feature is set for big improvements is the camera.

Chief Financial Officer Chialin Chang told CNET, “We can confidently say that HTC will have a very, very compelling camera experience.

“We’re making this comment after we’ve seen what’s going on in the market.”

Upping the ante

CEO Cher Wang was also present in the same interview, but neither her or Chang spoke about any other details of the One M10.

The One M9 received criticism for a poor camera, and the newly announced Galaxy S7 and LG G5 have both improved in this area, so the M10’s snapper is going to have to shine.

HTC revealed the Desire 530 and Desire 825 at MWC this year as well as a wider release plan for the HTC X9.

Perhaps the highlight of HTC’s MWC 2016 offering was the reveal of the Vive Consumer Edition and it’s price of $799 at launch.
