Ikan has announced even more light fixtures, this time a new line of fresnel field lights: the Ikan Stryder. They are available in two versions- the Stryder Bi-colour (SB200) and the Stryder Daylight Fresnel (SW50).
IKAN STRYDER: COB LED FRESNEL
The Stryder Bi-colour 200 watt LED light uses a COB (chip on board) design and a 5” Fresnel lens so you can change from a wide beam angle to a tight beam with just a click of a latch. Ikan claims it is extremely quiet because it uses an active cooling system. The Styrder is constructed out of lightweight Nylon-Resin body. The light also includes DMX512, so it can be used in the field or the studio. The light can also be powered via the mains or from a gold mount or V-Mount battery.
IKAN STRYDER DAYLIGHT 50W: PORTABLE LED FRESNEL
The Stryder Daylight 50W field light or SW50 is a 4” Fresnel light that can also convert from a wide to a tight beam angle with a latch. The SW50 also uses the same type of active cooling system as the larger 200w Bi-colour version. It can be powered off mains or from affordable 3.7 volt lithium-ion batteries that can be recharged. Like all Ikan lights both the SB200 and the SW50 have a large yellow knob control on the back to operate menus and adjust colour temperature and output.
The Stryder Bi-Colour 3200K-5600K Studio & Field LED Light w/DMX will retail for $1299 US. There is no indication of pricing yet for the Stryder Daylight 50W version.
