LG on Wednesday launched one model of the 2017 K-Series smartphones in India – specifically, the LG K10 (2017). The smartphone has been priced at Rs. 13,990, and will be available via retail stores from Thursday, February 23 in Black, Gold, and Titanium colour variants. It will go on sale via major online retail stores from Sunday, February 26.

The LG K10 (2017) has been launched in its dual-SIM (Nano) variant in the country, and the company is touting support for VoLTE and ViLTE apart from panic button support for the 112 national emergency number. It sports a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. The K10 (2017) also brings support for 9 regional languages. To recall, the smartphone was first unveiled ahead of CES 2017.

The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat with the company’s customisation on top. The LG K10 (2017) sports a 5.3-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM and the Mali-T860MP2 GPU.

The K10 (2017) sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with a CMOS sensor and flash, apart from a 5-megapixel front camera with a 120-degree wide-angle lens. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB).

Apart from 4G LTE, connectivity options on the LG K10 (2017) include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG, stereo FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth v4.1, and a 3.5mm jack. The smartphone is powered by a 2800mAh battery. It measures 148.7×75.2×7.9mm, and weighs in at 142 grams. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer (digital compass), and a proximity sensor.
