Libec ZFC-L and ZC-LP LANC zoom and focus controllers released

Libec have released two new LANC remote control units, the Libec ZFC-L and Libec ZC-LP, that allow shooters to zoom, focus and record start/stop when using compatible cameras and lenses from a range of manufacturers.

CONTROL FROM A DISTANCE

The ZFC-L and ZC-LP feature an invert switch that allows users to change the zoom direction when the control unit is attached to a top grip or in an underslung position. They also feature a new double sided zoom rocker design which gives users the ability to zoom with their fingers, not just their thumbs. Libec claims that these controls offer users smooth zoom and speed movements by simply tilting the zoom rocker.

The connection clamp can also be attached to round pipes up to 45mm in diameter, which makes it wide enough to even fit on the Libec’s HFMP Monopod center grip. Zoom controls are equipped with a REC Start/Stop button and a 0.7m/2.3’ length able with a 2.5mm jack for LANC cameras. It can be attached to tripod pan handles, jib arms, crane weight bars, stabilizers, monopods, and other accessories.

Nice, but please tell me the cable isn’t permanently fixed to the controller. grrrr. :/
I like that this is small and has multiple functions.
I have the Lanparte lanc controller, which only has record, but allows me to go from my tripod to gimbal quickly with out having to reroute cables. I have a longer cable snaked a certain way on my Ronin-M and a flex cable routed on my mono pod.

In the day and age of gimbals and such, I would like to only have to buy one of these and buy the proper length of cord for the necessary application.
    Hey maybe they’ll make a mid-season manufacturing change! :)

    Looks pretty nice though.

Valid point. I guess you could use a LANC extension cable, but it would be good if the cable detached at both ends.
