Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus vs Phicomm Clue 630 vs InFocus Bingo 10: Price, specifications and features compared

How does the new Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus fare against the Phicomm Clue 630 and InFocus Bingo 10? We compared the three smartphones to find out.

After launching the Canvas Spark 2 last year, Micromax launched a new variant of the smartphone called the Canvas Spark 2 Plus. It goes on sale today, and will be exclusively available via Snapdeal. Priced at Rs 3,999, one of the USP’s of the smartphone is that it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. It is also the first smartphone in Micromax portfolio to run on Android Marshmallow OS. At this price point, the Canvas Spark 2 Plus competes with the likes of Phicomm Clue 630 and InFocus Bingo 10. We compared all three devices based on their price specifications and features, and here’s how they fare.

Price: While the Canvas Spark 2 Plus is priced at Rs 3,999, the Phicomm Clue 630 and InFocus Bingo 10 will set you back by Rs 3,999 and Rs 4,299, respectively.

Specifications and features: The Canvas Spark 2 Plus and Clue 630 sport a 5-inch FWVGA display, whereas the Bingo 10 comes with a slightly smaller 4.5-inch FWVGA display. Under the hood, the Canvas Spark 2 Plus is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM.

The Clue 630 is powered by a 1.1GHz Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM, whereas the Bingo 10 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. All three smartphones come with 8GB of internal storage, which can further be expanded using a microSD card.

In the photography department, all three smartphones are equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. While the Canvas Spark 2 Plus and Clue 630 come with a 2-megapixel selfie camera, the Bingo 10 features a slightly higher resolution 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

On the battery front, the Bingo 10 and Canvas Spark 2 Plus feature a 2,000mAh battery, whereas the Clue 630 is armed with a slightly higher capacity, 2,300mAh battery. All smartphones feature connectivity options such as dual-SIM card slots, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Phicomm’s Clue 630 gets a slight advantage as it also includes 4G LTE connectivity.

In terms of software, the Bingo 10 and Canvas Spark 2 Plus run on Android Marshmallow OS, whereas the Clue 630 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. On paper, all three smartphones are equally matched with one or the other feature missing compared to the competitors. However, we will reserve our judgment until we have reviewed all the three smartphones.
