Panasonic has launched a new smartphone, P66 Mega, in India. Priced at Rs 7,990, one of the talking points of the P66 Mega is its support for 21 Indian languages. With support for vernacular languages, users can type and text in their native language.

Panasonic P66 Mega specifications and features: It flaunts a 5-inch HD display running at a resolution of 1280x720pixels. Under the hood is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. A microSD card slot with support for up to 32GB is also present.

In the camera department, the P66 Mega is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie unit. Armed with 3,200mAh battery, connectivity options include dual-SIM 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth and GPS. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Icon UI running atop.

The P66 Mega will be available in three different color options, including Rose Gold, Russet Brown and Electric Blue. At this price point, the smartphone go heads on with the likes of Asus Zenfone Go, Vibe P1 M and Honor 4C.
