Last week, RED announced that they were simplifying their camera offering to one DSMC2 camera body and three sensor options.
Vincent Laforet has released a side-by-side camera test comparing the Gemini, Helium & Monstro sensors. In the video, Vincent provides a commentary pointing out a few reasons why he would use the different sensors and how he has used RED cameras in his cinematography.
The camera test is best viewed on a 4K screen and is available to be downloaded via the Vimeo page for optimal viewing.
