The wait for Samsung’s next J-series is over. The company has sent out media invites to launch the Galaxy J7 (2016) and Galaxy J5 (2016) at an event in Delhi tomorrow.
Samsung has sent out media invites for an event scheduled on May 9 where it is likely to launch its next J-series smartphones. The Korean giant is anticipated to launch the latest smartphones Galaxy J7 (2016) and Galaxy J5 (2016) at the event. E-commerce giant Flipkart has also hinted at the launch of the smartphone by putting up a tweet that read “The most exciting launch of the season is coming to Flipkart! Stay tuned.” The tweets however confirms that the new Samsung smartphones will be Flipkart exclusive.

The image attached with the tweet also shows two smartphones with a caption ” Which is the only letter that doesn’t appear on the Periodic Table?” #TheNextJ. On one hand where Samsung is set to launch the smartphone on May 9, the device is likely to to be available on Flipkart from May 10.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy J7 (2016) and Galaxy J5 (2016) in China last month. Few talking points of the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) and the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) are its metal frame design, front-facing cameras with LED flash and 4G LTE connectivity with VoLTE support.
Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) specifications and features: The smartphone features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED full HD (1080p) display. Under the hood the smartphone runs an octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz, paired with 3GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage and a microSD card slot for further expansion.
The smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. With a 3,300mAh battery, connectivity options include dual SIM card slots, NFC, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) specifications and features: It flaunts a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED HD (720p) display. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, paired with 2GB of RAM. Also on offer is 16GB of onboard storage, and a microSD card slot for further expansion.
On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera both with LED flash. The Galaxy J5 (2016) comes equipped with a 3,100mAh battery and includes connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
