Xiaomi’s Mi Bluetooth speaker is all set to go on sale on March 22. Priced at Rs 1,999, it will be offered in Gold, Pink and Blue color options.
Earlier this month, along with launching the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 smartphone in India, the company also announced the new Mi Bluetooth Speaker. Priced at Rs 1,999, it is all set to go on sale starting March 22. Xiaomi teased the launch of the Mi Bluetooth speaker on its Twitter handle with a caption that reads, “Thinking of enhancing the Hi-fi on your Redmi Note 3? #MiBluetoothSpeaker will be available 22nd March!”

The Mi Bluetooth boasts an aluminium body and its design resembles a pencil box. One of the talking points of the speaker is its built-in mic that lets you make and receive calls and the microSD card slot that lets you play music stored on it.
The speaker is very compact in size and comes with a built-in Anerva AV3102 DSP (Digital Signal Processing) to offer good audio experience. It offers a maximum output power of 3W and frequency response of 85Hz-20KHz. With Bluetooth range of 15 meters, the speaker has power and volume buttons, a microUSB port for charging and an aux-in port as well.
Armed with 1,500mAh battery, Xiaomi claims that the Bluetooth speaker can offer continuous playback of up to eight hours. Weighing just 270 grams, the speaker will be offered in Blue, Gold and Pink color variants.
