YU has just dropped first teaser for its next smartphone with which it claims to be “redefining flagship.” In a small clip posted on YU’s forum, YU’s Rahul Sharma is actually seen destroying a flagship-model. Besides the hype, YU has revealed the smartphone will be launched this month.

“Excited to tell you all that our next device is round the corner and its nothing short of Incredible. It’s insanely beautiful and it will break some hearts. It will break records, it will break the conventional, it will break the rules…WAIT, it will break the flagships,” Rahul Sharma said on the YU forum.

YU’s last major release was the YU Yutopia in December 2015. After that the company has launched the Yureka Note, featuring 6-inch display and large 4,000 mAh battery and priced at Rs 13,499. According recent leaks, a smartphone codenamed YU5530 is in the pipeline. It comes with MediaTek’s Helio X10 octa-core processor along with 4GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and we expect it to be upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Other details about the smartphone aren’t known as yet.
Interestingly, another smartphone codenamed YU5200 was recently spotted on Zauba and on GFXBench. The smartphone carries a price tag of Rs 9,036. The smartphone features a 5.2-inch full HD display, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 octa-core SoC, 3GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage.
