Nikon’s official D850 lens recommendation list

With the exception of the two lenses marked with a green asterisk, all the lenses are modern enough designed to use the company’s latest Nano Crystal coating to improve transmission and minimize ghosting and flare.

It’s not clear whether the shorter list originated with a different Nikon group or is simply the result of a failure of communication.

Nikon has published a list of lens recommendations for D850 owners, highlighting a total of eleven lenses that are suitable for use with its newly-launched, high-res, high-speed DSLR. The list covers prime, zoom, and speciality lenses, all of which are Nikon products (duh).
