It’s time for a new laptop – here are the best Chromebook deals and bargains this month
Chromebooks are a great alternative to laptops running Windows or OS X, and are typically much cheaper, too. We’re a great fan of Chromebooks here at Expert Reviews and they’ve gained significant popularity over recent years.
It’s usually pretty easy to find a cheap Chromebook, especially considering that the cheapest retail for around £200, but you might need a little bit of help separating the good from the bad, especially when you’re bombarded with deals. That’s where we come in: we’ve scoured the cheapest and best Chromebook devices on offer right now, so you can be sure you’re looking at the best deals around.

1. ASUS C223NA-GJ0014 11.6-inch Chromebook (was £230, now £182)
With its spill-resistant keyboard and ruggedised design, this Asus Chromebook is perfect for teachers, students and, well, clumsy people. If you find yourself in any of those categories, you’ll be pleased to hear it’s dropped in price by almost £50.
2. Acer Chromebook 15 (was £399, now £250)
As far as Chromebook deals go, this is the best of the bunch. For only £250, you can buy Acer’s latest Chromebook 15, equipped with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB of flash storage. Its dual-core processor is slightly faster than most too, and its build quality is a far cry from the cheap, plasticky Chromebooks we were forced to use a few years ago. In short, this is an excellent Chromebook and at this price it’s unmissable.
3. ASUS C101PA-FS002 10.1-inch touchscreen Chromebook Flip (was £350, now £255)
This touchscreen Chromebook features a 360-degree hinge that makes it one of the most versatile laptops out there. It’s also one of the lightest, designed to be taken on the go and used as a tablet as often as it is a traditional PC, and Amazon is currently selling it for 27% of its RRP.
4. Acer Spin 11 11.6-inch Intel Celeron 2 in 1 Chromebook (was £349, now £299)
Made to fit into modern lifestyles with its 10-hour battery life and four different screen flip modes, the Acer Spin 11 Chromebook easily fulfils the needs of both laptop and tablet users. Even better, you can currently grab the device from Curry’s PC World for just £299, so don’t wait around.
5. Dell Chromebook 11 3000 11.6-inch Notebook (was £199, now £169)
Currently available from Amazon for 15% off its £199 RRP, the Dell Chromebook 11 3000 Notebook is a steal and perfect for multiple-person use. The display bumpers and spill-proof keyboard insure it against use by children, for example, and though it is built for simplicity rather than anything too arduous, the Chromebook has 10 hours of battery life so you can take it with you on the go.
