With the likes of Samsung, LG and Xiaomi having launched their flagship smartphones, it is only a matter of time before HTC follows suit. The Taiwanese company has now confirmed that its flagship will launch on April 12. The launch event is likely to take place simultaneously in New York, London and Taipei, and will also be streamed online. With just over a month for the launch, here’s a look at everything we know about the HTC 10 so far.

We already have a fair idea on what to expect from the HTC 10 courtesy of numerous leaks, and HTC’s own teasers. As per leaked photos, the upcoming smartphone boasts a full-metal body, but surprisingly has opted for capacitive buttons up front. There is also a physical home button up front, which is expected to have a fingerprint scanner integrated into it.

Leaks also suggest that the HTC 10 will be available in four color options with white and black front panels. The white variant will come with while and gold back panels, while the black variant will come with white and black back panels.

HTC 10 specifications, features: It is expected to flaunt a 5.2-inch WQHD (2560×1440 pixels) display, and will be powered by either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 quad-core chipset or an equivalent MediaTek SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. It is also likely to offer 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage options, along with the option to expand it using a microSD card.

HTC recently teased a ‘World First, and World Class’ camera experience on the upcoming smartphone. It is expected to feature a 12-UltraPixel camera at the back with laser auto focus, PDAF, optical image stabilization and dual tone LED flash. Up front, it could come with an 8-megapixel camera along with optical image stabilization to ensure blur-free selfies.

As for connectivity, we expect it to come with a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and on the software it will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow wrapped under HTC Sense UI.
