Intex Aqua Shine 4G with 4G VoLTE launched for Rs 7,699: Specifications, features

Intex has launched another affordable smartphone with VoLTE support.

After launching the Aqua Secure and the Cloud String HD in quick succession, Intex has launched yet another smartphone called the Aqua Shine 4G. The smartphone is listed on Intex’s website with a price tag of Rs 7,699. As is fast becoming a norm these days, the Aqua Shine 4G is future-proof with support for VoLTE. This feature happens to be one of the talking points of Reliance Jio’s upcoming 4G LTE network.

VoLTE or Voice over LTE essentially lets network operators handle cellular voice calls over LTE networks, which results in HD voice clarity, faster call connectivity among others. However, it depends on whether your carrier supports it or not. The Aqua Shine 4G is also preloaded with apps like Matrabhasha, Clean Master, the official app for Gujarat Lions, payment apps Freecharge and MobiKwik, Saavn and Opera browsers.

Intex Aqua Shine 4G specifications, features: The smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1. It is powered by a MediaTek 64-bit quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card.

The Aqua Shine 4G also features an 8-megapixel camera on the rear with Led flash, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and a 3,000mAh battery that Intex says is good enough to offer up to five hours or talktime and up to 200 hours on standby mode. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G with VoLTE support, Bluetooth 2.1, and Wi-Fi.

At this price range, the Intex Aqua Shine 4G will be up against the likes of the Micromax Canvas XP 4G and InFocus Bingo 50 among others.
