The Aura Power is the second device in Karbonn’s portfolio to support VoLTE.
Karbonn has today launched the Aura Power smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 5,990, the smartphone comes with VoLTE support and a massive 4,000mAh battery, which offers enough backup to last through the day. The smartphone will be available in champagne and ark-blue-champagne colors. This is the second device in the company’s portfolio, after Karbonn Aura, to come with VoLTE support.
Karbonn Aura Power specifications, features: The Karbonn Aura power flaunts a 5-inch FWVGA display with 480×854 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor and is paired with 1GB of RAM. Also on offer is 8GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
The Karbonn Aura Power sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G with VoLTE support, FM radio, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, and micro-USB 2.0. One of the smartphone’s highlights is the 4,000mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough to deliver up to 17 hours of talk time and up to 1,200 hours of standby time.
At this price point, Karbonn’s new Aura Power is set to face competition from the likes of Reliance Digital LYF Flame 2 and Intex Aqua Secure among others. The Flame 2 is priced at Rs 4,799 and comes with almost a similar set of specifications and features. The Aqua Secure is a tad more expensive at Rs 6,499, but for that you get a fingerprint scanner onboard.
