Carrying a model number of XT1622 and XT1642, both could be the Motorola Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus, GSMArena reports. For reference, last year’s Moto G3 carries a model number of XT1540. The Moto G4 was also spotted on benchmarking site Geekbench, which has revealed some of its key specifications and features. The smartphone was spotted running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 617 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM.

Motorola Moto G4 specifications and features: From what we’ve come across so far, the smartphone is likely to flaunt a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display and powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 617 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM. With onboard storage of 16GB, a microSD card slot is also likely to be in tow.

In the photography department, a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing unit are expected. Usual set of connectivity options such as dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS are also expected along with a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging feature.

Motorola Moto G4 Plus specifications and features: It could be a slightly upgraded version with the display size, processor, connectivity and battery capacity same as the Moto G4. However, there would be some changes, such as 32GB of onboard storage and a 16-megapixel rear camera. The Moto G4 Plus is also rumored to include a fingerprint scanner, something that seems to be absent from the Moto G4.

With no word on the pricing and availability, Motorola has already confirmed that both smartphones will be exclusive to Amazon India. With just two days to go for the official launch, it will be interesting to see what Motorola has in store for its customers this time around.
