Panasonic P77 with 4G VoLTE support launched, priced at Rs 6,990: Specifications, features

The trend was started by the likes of Reliance Digital with its LYF smartphones, and others have now followed suit. Panasonic has now launched a new affordable smartphone, called P77. This smartphone is priced at Rs 6,990 and it comes with 4G VoLTE support. It will be available across all Panasonic outlets in the country.

The Panasonic P77 will be available in two colors — grey and white. It features a unibody design and weighs 126 grams. Buyers will also receive a protective screen guard as a free accessory in the box. Panasonic, as a smartphone brand, is looking into fully manufacturing its smartphones in India within the next two years.

Panasonic P77 specifications

The Panasonic P77 features a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) fully laminated display. Under the hood is a 1GHz quad-core processor. The smartphone comes with 1GB of RAM, and onboard storage of 8GB, which is further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.

On the photography front, the Panasonic P77 smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It is powered by a 2,000mAh Lithium Polymer battery. The smartphone offers connectivity options like dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi and A-GPS support. On the software front, the Panasonic P77 smartphone runs on Android Lollipop 5.1.

Xiaomi Redmi 3s runs on Android based MIUI 7 and is powered by a 4,100mAh battery. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

If we talk about 4G VoLTE being the main USP here, then we can easily opt for Reliance Digital smartphones which start at a price of Rs 2,999.
