Reliance Digital has launched its first smartphone under the LYF brand with a fingerprint scanner.
Reliance Digital has quietly launched a new smartphone under its LYF series, called the LYF Water 7. It is the fourth smartphone to join the LYF Water series, and is priced at Rs 12,999. The LYF Water 7 is also the first smartphone in the LYF range to boast a fingerprint scanner. The smartphone is available in two colors — silver and gold at Reliance Digital stores across the country.
LYF Water 7 specifications, features: The smartphone features a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) full HD IPS LCD display protected by Asahi Dragontail Glass. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon octa-core 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Also on offer is 16GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.
On the photography front, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera with 88-degree wide angle view. The LYF Water 7 is backed by a 3,000mAh battery, and comes with connectivity options like 4G LTE with VoLTE support, dual-SIM card slots, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
At this price range, the LYF Water 7 will face strong competition from the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, LeEco Le 2 and the Lenovo K4 Note to name a few.
