The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo looks to be on the lower spectrum of the popular Galaxy J series smartphones.

Samsung has expanded its J series with the launch of the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo. The smartphone has been listed on the company’s official South Africa website without any price tag. Right now there’s no word on the global availability of the smartphone as yet. The Galaxy J1 Ace Neo looks to be an entry-level smartphone, and comes in three color options, black, white and blue.

Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo specifications and features: The smartphone comes with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED WVGA display. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

The Galaxy J1 Ace Neo sports a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with ƒ/2.2 aperture, autofocus, LED flash, and HD video recording. Up front there is a 2-megapixel camera. Connectivity options include LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and microUSB 2.0 port. The smartphone comes with 1,900mAh battery with Ultra Power Saving mode. The 1,900mAh battery claims to deliver up to 40 hours of audio playback and talktime of up to 11 hours on 3G. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
