The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 price has been announced at today’s event in New York City, and we know how much it’ll cost on certain US carriers.
Yes, the Note 7 is expensive, but you already knew that. This isn’t just a top-of-the-line phone, but phablet with a 5.7-inch Quad HD display and a S-Pen stylus included.
All of its extra features over the Galaxy S7 Edge make it pricier than Samsung’s ther curved phone for 2016. Here’s how much it’ll cost on T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon and Sprint.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 at Best Buy
You’ll be able to purchase the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 at Best Buy, and it’s one of the better choices in this case because of the bundle you’ll instantly be able to enjoy.
Most US carriers and retailers are offering a free Samsung Gear Fit 2 or the South Korean company’s 256GB microSD memory card, but it’ll take a while to receive the gift in the mail.
At Best Buy, you can walk away with both your phone and gift of your choice without having to wait 30 to 60 days to get in the mail. You can track your fitness or try to (and fail) to fill that memory card starting on August 19.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on T-Mobile
T-Mobile was the first US carrier to give us a clear Samsung Galaxy Note 7 price. It’ll cost $32.50 a month for 24 months and requires a one-time $69.99 down payment through the no-contract carrier.
T-Mobile has indicated to TechRadar that the full retail price of the phone is actually $849.99. That makes it the most expensive phone you’ll probably own (at least so far), but other carriers have it for more.
Note about Note 7: Samsung doesn’t sell actually sell the phone outright, so you can’t really buy it SIM-free in the US. They did the same with the S7 ($669) and S7 Edge ($729) after four months of availability.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on Verizon
The Note 7 on Verizon costs a little more per month, but there’s no upfront fee. It’s $36 a month for the same 24 months.
The phone costs $864 outright, which is a little more expensive than the full retail price of T-Mobile.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on AT&T
AT&T has the Note 7 for cheaper – until you realize it doesn’t. It claims to offer the very same Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with 64GB of storage for just $29.34 a month. That’s under the $30 mark.
Then you realize that’s for the AT&T Next plan, a device payment plan that’s spread out over 30 months. The better US Note 7 carrier comparison come with the next tier: AT&T Next Every Year.
Its 24 month program cost $36.67, which is pennies higher than everyone else and $880 for a full price. Sneaky, right? Okay, AT&T makes up for it with a few Samsung Galaxy Note 7 bundle deals.
Note 7 purchases with its Next plans can get a free Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch for free and a Galaxy Tab E for $0.99 with a two-year agreement (but remember data on that tablet does cost money).
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on Sprint
The Sprint network is a little slow to the game with the Note 7 pricing. It hasn’t announced its monthly or retail price scheme just yet.
However, the carrier is offering a deal: a free Gear Fit 2 fitness tracker or a free 256GB memory card with the purchase of a Note 7 on its plans. We’ll have to see how valuable that offer really is.
How the Note 5 price compared
When it launched last year, you could purchase one for $249 on two-year contract in the US. If you were an AT&T customer picking one up, it costed $24.67 a month for a 30-month duration as part of AT&T Next. Lastly, Verizon offered the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 for its full retail price of $696.
If you’re looking to pre-allocate some cash for the next Samsung Galaxy Note device, we think that last year’s figures are a fairly sound foundation to go from.

Looking back again to the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, it offered both CDMA and GSM support, so just about every carrier was compatible with last year’s phone.
