The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 goes on second flash sale today at 2PM. Xiaomi will also make available its 16,000mAh Mi power bank. Here’s everything you need to know.

Xiaomi is all set to put the Redmi Note 3, which is priced at Rs 9,999 on sale today at 2PM. The second flash sale kicks off on mi.com and Amazon India at 2PM. As per the rules only users who have registered will be able to get their hands on the device. Alongside the Redmi Note 3, the company has also made available the 16,000mAh Mi power bank on sale, which is priced at Rs 1,399.

The company claims that users can charge a Redmi Note 4G more than thrice, iPhone 6 can be fully charged 5 time and iPad mini can be charged for more than twice with the 16,000mAh Mi power bank. As for the Redmi Note 3, it will be available in three color variants — gold, dark grey and white. The 32GB variant is only available in gold. Amazon India will have all three variants available, while mi.com will only have the gold variant. However the company has not yet revealed the total number of units it has made available or the total number of registrations garnered.

For both the products Amazon India has requested users be online before 2PM. Customers will have only have 15 minutes to checkout. In case the Redmi Note 3 is out of stock, buyers will be added to a waitlist. If the buyer fails to checkout within 15 minutes, the customer at the top of the waitlist will be notified of the phone’s availability. Those in the waitlist will have three minutes to add the Redmi Note 3 to their carts, and 15 minutes to checkout.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 price, specifications and features: The Redmi Note 3 is available in two variants — 16GB variant with 2GB of RAM for Rs 9,999, and the 32GB variant with 3GB of RAM for Rs 11,999. The 16GB variant features a 4,000mAh battery, while the 32GB variant features a slightly bigger 4,050mAh battery.

Both variants share a similar set of specifications that include a 5.5-inch 1080p display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor, 16-megapixel f/2.0 rear camera, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. They also include a fingerprint sensor placed at the back, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots (hybrid setup), 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and GPS. On the software front, it runs on Android Lollipop 5.1-based MIUI 7.
