Intex Aqua Pride, Aqua Q7N 3G-only smartphones launched, prices start from Rs 4,190: Specifications, features

Intex has launched the Aqua Pride and Aqua Q7N smartphones at an affordable price, but it crucially misses out on 4G connectivity.

Intex has launched two new smartphones under its ‘Aqua series’, called Aqua Pride and Aqua Q7N. The smartphones are priced at Rs 4,999 and Rs 4,190 respectively. Both smartphones are currently listed on company’s official website, and will be available in three color options — champagne, grey and white.

Aqua Pride specifications

The Intex Aqua Pride comes with 5-inch FWVGA IPS display with 196ppi pixel density, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Also on offer is 8GB internally storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

Intex Aqua Pride features

On the camera front, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with front flash. The Aqua Pride is equipped with a 2,800mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for six hours of talktime, and up to 450 hours on standby mode. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 3G, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, and on the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is also preloaded with services like Matrabhasha, Clean Master, Freecharge, Mobikwik, Saavn, and Opera Mini to name a few.

The smartphone will face tough competition from the likes of Reliance Digital LYF Flame 2 and Karbonn Aura Power. These smartphones are not only similarly priced, but also offer 4G connectivity, which is a huge plus point.

Intex Aqua Q7N specifications

The Intex Aqua Q7N flaunts a 4.5-inch display with 218ppi density, and is powered by a quad-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. It offers 8GB internal memory, which can be further expanded to 32GB via a microSD card.

Intex Aqua Q7N features

On the camera front, the Aqua Q7N comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. It also comes with a 2,000mAh battery and offers standby time of up to 200 hours and talk-time of about eight hours. Connectivity options include 3G support, Bluetooth v4.0, and USB 2.0. On the software front the smartphone runs Android Lollipop 5.1.

The Intex Aqua Q7N misses out many important features like the 4G and the VoLTE which other smartphone makers offer at a price tag lower than this and therefore the phone will directly compete with the likes of Reliance Digital LYF Flame 3 and InFocus Bingo 10 among others.
