Apple has dedicated a short video ad to mothers around the world, ahead of Mother’s Day later this week.

Apple has released a new ad as a part of its ‘Shot on iPhone’ campaign, and this one’s made for Mother’s Day. Celebrated on May 8 this year, Apple’s 30 second is a beautiful ode to mothers around the world, and is a nice reminder to do something special on the day.

The 30 second video doesn’t have a narrative as such, and is basically a montage of photos and videos shot using an iPhone. Each photo and video celebrates motherhood, and depict scenes like childbirth, playing and growing up with your mother. The photos and videos credit the owner with their names underneath, and the video ends with a simple message — ‘Celebrating motherhood through the lens of iPhone users around the world’.

Apple has recently been ramping up its advertising efforts, and recently released a video celebrating Earth Day 2016. The video focused on Apple’s environmental efforts, and talked about how every iMessage goes through one of Apple’s data centers, which is powered by 100 percent renewable energy.

The ‘shot on iPhone’ campaign kicked off last year, and is meant to highlight just how good iPhones’ cameras are. Apple’s iPhones remain the best smartphone cameras out there and its videos and image galleries are proof. A survey last year also declared the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 6 as two of the most popular smartphone cameras on photo-sharing platform Flickr.
